Website FAQ’s

What is the difference between Groups and Forums

Groups: A group is a closer community of people sharing a interest in a particular topic. You have to be a member of a group to post photos and participate in the group’s forum. Groups can have their own photo album.

Forums: You do not have to be a member of a forum to post to it – you just have to be logged in to the site.

What does being logged in to the site provide me?

It allows you to have your own profile and edit it. You can change your profile headshot and cover photo, add photos to an album in your profile, it gives you Wall and News Feed features similar to Facebook, it allows you to friend and follow other people, it allows you to comment on groups and forums you have access to, and it allows you to becpme a member of a community here with other photographers all looking to learn and become inspired from each other.

Does it cost anything to join?

Absolutely not! You can register for free and participate in public forums and groups.

If you are enrolled in online classes or are a member of one of the site’s subscription plans, you gain access to additional private groups & forums as well as additional blog content.

Can I start my own Group or Forum?

If you have a group idea you are passionate about or a main forum category, send me a private message and tell me about it! If I think it is appropriate for the site, I can approve it and make you the moderator.
